feel the pillars bend

there is something more to feel.
a power that swells up inside the mind.
inclined and able to be something more.
something greater than the narrow knowledge.
something outside the peripheral of human perception.
the raw flesh is wilting like the leaves of a tree that desperately needs water.
and the mind is racing with thoughts.
feelings.
the feeling of having the capacity of being bigger, greater, purposeful.
the preoccupation is beginning to melt away.
no longer will there be contentment in this way of life.
it can no longer be entertained.
knowing how much more is out there causes the mind to ache.

painfully scratching at the surface.
tempted but easily subdued.
the foundation of this factitious settlement may to cave in.
the pillars will soon bend hard enough to break.

the potential will flow.
insanity? enlightenment? happiness?
predestination.
