the shadow of a faceless man
it had been nearly two years since i first heard the name AND THEN IT WAS MERELY A FIGMENT OF MY IMAGINATION based on an old photograph stapled to a girls loving and fond memories of the way it was AND IN TIME IT EVENTUALLY WENT MISSING IN THE ROOM but never in my mind AND AS THE MONTHS PASSED the shadow became easier to see in the light NOT JUST VISIBLE IN THE DARK ANYMORE and the face that seemed so far away began to morph and tangle itself ALMOST LIKE AN APPARITION FLOATING IN SPACE TRYING TO GET A GOOD VIEW OF THE EARTH until the day the sun shone through the stained glass FILTERING THE LIES AND DUST FROM A DOUBTED REALITY and it was surreal and sad YET RELIEVING when i first saw the face of a shadowless manMonday, March 14, 2005

If you're ever jaded about it, consider this:
There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness.
-Nietzsche
Perhaps the feelings that we experience when we are in love represent a normal state. Being in love shows a person who he should be.
-Anton Chekhov
There is no remedy for love but to love more.
-Henry David Thoreau
Love is a snowmobile racing across the tundra and then suddenly it flips over, pinning you underneath. At night, the ice weasels come.
-Matt Groening
